Zovo Group Vote
Make a voting page your group opens from one link, then read the results in chat.
Zovo Group Vote turns a question and a few options into a hosted voting page. Share one link in your group chat; people vote in their browser without an account, and can change their vote until you close it. Choose single choice, approval voting, or ranked choice with an instant-runoff count shown round by round.
What it does
- A public voting page anyone opens from one link, on a phone or a computer, without an account
- Three methods: single choice, approval (pick any you like), ranked choice (instant runoff)
- Ranked choice shows a round-by-round table with a stated tie-break rule
- Optional: hide the totals until you close the vote
- Voters can change their vote until the vote closes
- Private organizer page with all ballots and a CSV export
Try asking
“Make a ranked-choice vote: where should the team offsite be? Lisbon, Porto, Madeira, Seville”
“Create a poll for our book club: which book next? Piranesi, Klara and the Sun, The Overstory”
“Show the results of my vote”
Limitations
- It is a simple group poll, not a secret or fraud-proof ballot: one vote per name and browser, and the organizer sees each person's vote
- 2 to 20 options, up to 300 voters per vote
- Pages expire after 60 days
- Names, options and notes cannot contain web links
